Welcome to First Gold Club! Check out our list of activities coming up in the next months. We have a lot of fun events planned and look forward to having you attend. We appreciate an RSVP for the events so we can plan accordingly! Most events are held at the Holbrook Community Building, unless otherwise specified.
We are looking forward to warmer weather and hoping that summer will arrive. We have been blessed with nice moisture this spring. Hopefully, most of the crops are in the ground and benefiting from this rain fall! For June, we had an afternoon of bedding plant bingo on the 10th. Our bingo prizes were - you guessed it - bedding plants. We had a nice variety of flowers and garden plants for everyone to choose from for their yard. As cool as it has been, I think it will still be plenty of time to get your plants in the ground. We look forward to seeing you on July 8th in Holbrook at the Community Building at 2:00 pm for our Happy Birthday America Party! We have some local talent coming to entertain us - you will not want to miss this! August will be County Fair Bingo and September will be Stone Soup with the movie The Express showing.
Upcoming trips: In June, we will be traveling to the Orpheum Theatre in Omaha for Beauty & The Beast. A fantastic performance I know you all will LOVE! Call our office in Holbrook at 308-493-5905 for details and price information. Seating is limited, right now we have 2 seats available, so give us a call quick! In August we will be having a Gold Club 10th Anniversary Trip to Medora and the International Peace Gardens. If you joined us 10 years ago on this first trip, you will notice the itinerary is almost duplicate. We had such a wonderful time the first go around, we decided to try it again! I have had several people comment that they plan to go again. Call our office for more details or to sign up!
