Welcome to First Gold Club! Check out our list of activities coming up in the next months. We have a lot of fun events planned and look forward to having you attend. We appreciate an RSVP for the events so we can plan accordingly!
We had a wonderful time at our January event this year. Dawna Bates from "Tea with Thee" entertained us with an afternoon of tasting teas, snacking on wonderful treats like scones, tea sandwiches and pound cake with toppings. She taught us about the history of tea, different varieties of teas, how it is grown and processed. It was a wonderful time had by all and her tables were exquisite! We look forward to our February "Sweetheart" Bingo. On Valentines Day - no less. Come see if you can win a prize for you sweetheart! March will be a potato bar and a movie. We have a good movie lined up, so be sure to join us! In April we are honored to have the Nebraska Attorney General's Office join us. They will be doing a presentation on their SAFE program which give us tips on fraud and things to avoid. It should be a very interesting afternoon!
Upcoming trips we have scheduled are Phantom of the Opera at the Orpheum Theatre in Omaha, Nebraska on Saturday, February 9, 2008. We still have 2 seats available. In April, we plan to return to Omaha to the Orpheum Theatre for the production of Annie! The date on this is Saturday, April 26 for the afternoon performance. Included will be your motorcoach transportation, lunch, dinner, theatre ticket, games, prizes and snacks. Call our office at 308-493-5905 for details and price information. Seating is limited!
