We appreciate an RSVP for the events so we can plan accordingly! Most events are held at the Holbrook Community Building, unless otherwise specified.
On Thursday, July 25th, we have a trip planned to attend the Merryman Performing Arts Center in Kearney for the production "Grease". One of the most popular musicals of all time, Grease had its Broadway premiere in 1972 and has triumphed thoughout the world. In 1979 Grease took over the record as the longest running show in the history of Broadway. The event is at 7:00 pm with dinner included. Call for more details and to join us.
In August join us for a fun afternoon to play "football forecast"! We will see who has the best predictions for our 2013 season of Football! We will also be attending the Nebraska State Fair in August on the 28th. Mel Tillis returns to the Heartland Events Center in Grand Island. Country Music legend, Mel Tillis, started performing in the early 50's with a group called The Westerners while serving as a baker in the United States Air Force, stationed in Okinawa. In 1956, Webb Pierce recorded a song written by Mel entitled "I'm Tired", and it launched Mel's musical career. Our day trip includes motor coach transportation, fair gate admission, Mel Tillis concert ticket, dinner and all taxes and gratuities.
September has us heading back to Deadwood Gulch. This trip includes round trip transportation, snacks, games and prizes on the bus, wine and cheese welcome party, two nights lodging, slot tourney entry, nightly appetizers, meal and gaming coupons. The departure date is September 24th. Call for more details and to reserve your spot!
